Playing with the Bosty

On Saturday I got a surprise visit from Aunt Cari and Bosty. Bosty and I got to play for a little bit and it was great fun. We got to watch PlayHouse Disney, played with the guys, and built houses. She's getting so big and talking a bunch. I love that little munchkin.

I Just wanted to express my love to all of my friends and family on this special day. Valentines Day is truely one of my favorite holidays because it's day for everyone to show each other their love for them. Thank you to everyone for your love and support. I don't know where I would be today if I didn't have the amazing family that I have. You are all extraordinary people.

Finally 19!!!

Yesterday I had a wonderful birthday! It started out with a snow day at school so my roomate took me to breakfast at the Original Pancake House. Sooo Goood! Then we played with mom's pin the tail on the donkey that she gave me. After that my friends Taylor, Jordan, and Alexis took me to my favorite restaraunt.... OLIVE GARDEN!!!! After that I took a quick nap and my friend Ben took me out to dinner and to concert. All in all, it was a very good day. Thank you everyone for the phone calls, the cards, and for the wonderful presents. It was so nice of you to think of me when I'm so far away. I love you all and hope to see everyone soon!

10 Reasons Why I Hate Snow....

1. My car doesn't have 4 wheel drive so I slide all over the street.
2. Combined with wind it feels like tiny bullets on your face.
3. After a while it turns into sleet that ruins your cute boots.
4. Or it turns into ice which is 10 times worse.
5. It makes you slip and fall in front of a cute guy.
6. It makes you not want to get out of bed in the morning.
7. It ruins your plans for the day so you have to sit in your tiny dorm waiting for it to stop.
8. It makes everything white and grey which is depressing.
9. It's under 20 degrees everyday.
10. It causes people's cars to slip on the ice and rear-end you. (Yes that happened to me today. Tammy is ok but her tail-light broke :-(.)

I miss Las Vegas where it doesn't get below 35 degrees.

One Republic Concert

On Wednesday I went to the One Republic concert at UVSC. For those of you who don't know this band it's the one that sings the song "Apologize" they're actually really good and pretty low key and I love music like that. They sound even better live and they had an amazing concert. One of their opening acts is my new musical obession. His name is Eric Hutchinson and his music is kind of like Gavin Degraw but has the funniest sense of humor. In the middle of his act he went to into a discussion on why Fiji water is best bottled water on the planet. This is my second of two college concerts and they have both been excellent. I'm excited for more in the future!

Spring Semester

Well it's a new semester and that means lots of changes. I have a new schedule (Geology, Music, Jazz, Math, History, and yoga), some new friends, and new projects. My friend Aj became a founder of a new frat and my friends and I volunteered to get the new house situated so we have been doing a lot of painting lately. I'll be happy when this finally gets finished but we've been having a ton of fun doing it.

An Osmond Extravaganza

Kelly surprised our family with this hilarious video. I've never been exposed to the entire Osmond Clan before and I don't know if I ever will again. This movie was too funny! I laughed so hard that I cried and I'm postive that Jimmy is supposed to be a girl. Mom's favorite was the Osmond wives and we noticed that Wayne's wife was the only brunette in a sea of blondes. I particularly liked how Debbie's bouncing 'do' and that she's, "Once, twice, three times a Lady."
